Heterogeneous systems, combining general-purpose and specialised computing units, are ideal to respond to the ever-growing computing and energy efficiency demands of modern applications. The goal of DOMAIN is to devise methodologies and tools that enable domain experts to code their applications with minimal effort using languages that adhere to their way of thinking, while exploiting the full potential of heterogeneous systems thanks to the self-managing capabilities of the DOMAIN tool suite
