Dr. Colussi’s research is focused on the key pathological pathways leading to neurodegeneration in the Alzheimer’s disease including altered neurogenesis, the impact of post-translational modifications on synaptic protein function, and epigenetic mechanisms at the basis of inflammation-dependent neurodegeneration.
