The main topics of the MoCarPo project are the modeling of the physiology of the cardiocirculatory and respiratory systems. By modeling the mechanics of these two systems it is possible to describe their fundamental aspects and provide medical staff with a tool for conducting in silico simulations as well as to support them in clinical assessments in particular situations (e. g. haemorrhagic shock, ventilator-patient interaction).
